One thing that makes Ascension Alliance so unique is its Leadership.   We are governed by a council of officers who work together as a team and rely on the input of the entire membership when making decisions that affect the guild.  Our leaders are not in position for personal power, but instead it is their mission to empower all of our members to achieve their goals.  This means that every member's voice is important!

Any member can be a leader without waiting to be promoted to the position of officer. Set an example for others, express your ideas, and take the initiative to assist others and organize events. Being a leader does not require holding of a position of any sort!

The Council of Ascension Alliance consists of those members who are elected to serve as officers and leaders of the guild. Together, members of the council share the responsibility for Guild Membership, Events, Communications, and Resources. Each member of the council has equal authority and an equal vote in all matters of policy and decisions affecting the guild. Your current guild officers are:

Mayax
Mnemostomar
Noot
Notinth

Selah

Twain

While EverQuest requires player guilds to have a designated guild leader for the purpose of creating the guild, inviting officers, transferring guild leadership, and disbanding the guild, in Ascension Alliance the designated guild leader is a member of the council with equal authority and an equal vote, and is bound to abide by the Council's decisions on all matters concerning the guild.

Being a member of the Council is a longterm commitment and it is anticipated that guild officers will remain on the Council as long as they are willing and able to perform the duties of office. New officers may be added at any time the incumbent Council collectively deems it necessary. Position vacancies will be posted under Guild Discussion, emailed to all members, and/or communicated during guild meetings. Interested parties may submit a letter of application to the Confidential Matters forum for consideration. From the pool of applicants, the current Council will nominate their candidate for officer and the members of the Guild will vote whether to accept their candidate or not.
